NSC PACKAGE

NSC Package Review is a comprehensive report designed to assist the attorney regarding the “true value” of the case. A Medicare Set Aside certified consultant (MSCC) examines all presented medical records and develops a report based on their findings. The Reviews will address the following to help settle or to litigate the claim.

Includes a detailed summary of the case and nature of injury/illness,

Provides a list of detailed chronologically medical review (Exhibit),

List of doctors (witness list),

Properly identify pre-existing conditions,

Highlights ICD-10 codes relevant to injury,

Accepted body parts and Denied body parts,

Cost projection of future Medicare-covered treatment with a Lump sum and structured payouts,

Cost projection of non-Medicare covered items,

MSP Compliance, verify the injured persons Social Security and Medicare eligibility status, to confirm that an MSA allocation is warranted,

Determine if Medicare has any outstanding conditional payments(lien) that will need to be reimbursed at the time of settlement,

Determine if life Care Planning report is required (home care, transportation, architectural renovation, other costs)

Rate the PTP, QME, AME report,

Rated Age Assignment if needed,

Determine if CMS submission is warranted
